A BIT MORE ABOUT ME
I am grateful that you’ve been led to find me and that we can meet in this way.
I am a mother, a wife, a daughter, a friend, a mystic, and seeker. Professionally, I worked as a developmental editor in the educational publishing industry before transitioning to my role as the Head of Communications at Pantree which allowed me to pursue my other passions on the side. To that end, I am today a Certified Holistic Health Coach through the Institute of Integrative Nutrition, specializing in supporting women’s health. I am also a Certified Yoga Teacher (RYT 200, Yin Yoga & Yoga Nidra) as well as a published author and therapeutic writing guide. You can learn more about my offerings and how I can support you throughout my site.
In my spiritual life, I have been learning more deeply about the importance of awakening and reconnecting with the Divine Feminine, and strive to infuse this energy into my work. I believe this energy (that has nothing to do with gender0 offers us all an opportunity to come back to balance and to heal within ourselves and in the world at large. My purpose in the work I do and the offerings I put out into the world is to let others know they are not alone on this winding path of the human experience, and to share what I have learned in my own life that was healing and supportive in the hopes that it might help others.
AND BEYOND
You might know of me through my experience of losing my daughter at 5 months’ pregnant which I wrote about extensively for outlets like Today’s Parent, as well as in the book I co-authored, Through, Not Around, which led me to advocate for more open discussion and greater compassion for those going through miscarriage and pregnancy loss through the non-profit project formed with my co-authors called The 16 Percent. This experience shook the foundation of my life, and I realize now in reflection that it was an initiation into greater spiritual depth, exploration, and connection. Although I’m very lucky to have two wonderful sons, it split my existence into before her, and after her, and the after is where I have done my greatest healing and my most profound work. Now I am turning my attention to bringing as much support I can to others on their own healing journeys in whatever way I am called or I am found.
Whatever has brought you here, I hope that I can be of service on your path through my experience.
